Meijer will open a new 90,000-square-foot grocery format store on July 11 in Noblesville, IN. This is the first grocery format store by Meijer in Indiana, complementing its other 42 well-known supercenters throughout the state.

Dollar Tree Inc. acquired designation rights for 170 leases of 99 Cents Only Stores across Arizona, California, Nevada and Texas. As part of the transactions, Dollar Tree also acquired the North American intellectual property of 99 Cents Only Stores and select on-site equipment.

Dollar Tree expects to welcome customers from 99 Cents Only Stores as early as fall 2024.

Bobalu Berry Farms is celebrating its third year awarding scholarships to graduating high school seniors. The Bobalu Berry Farms Scholarship program was established in 2022 to honor company founders on the 60th anniversary. Each year the program has expanded to include more students at high schools in both Oxnard and Santa Maria, CA, and employee’s children.

Ahold Delhaize announced its Growing Together strategy last week, outlining key plans and ambitions toward 2028. While growth is the overall aim, the company will be reducing the store count of its Stop & Shop banner.
