Mastronardi Produce has made several recent moves to spark strong and fast growth in the western region of North America and has now added a new business director to support the company’s sales efforts in that region. Caitlin Tierney, an industry veteran and former senior director of fresh at 99 Cents Only Stores has joined the company in the role of business director, western operations.

Fresh off Troy Bland's move to Bland Farms’ new CEO — rising from his former position as the company’s chief operating officer — the company announced two more staff changes.

Luke McBee is being promoted to director of operations. McBee is a five-year veteran of Bland Farms. He has a bachelor's degree in accounting and a minor in finance from Georgia Southern University. He is also treasurer of the Altamaha Boy’s & Girl’s Club.

Additionally, Allison Keen joined Bland Farms in January 2021 as operations and sales analyst.  Keen has a Bachelor of bachelor's degree in marketing from University

Jennifer Wagner Sanchez has joined Church Bros. Farms as director of marketing. She has more than 20 years of experience in the fresh produce industry in marketing, sales and category management roles.

Sanchez was most recently at Driscoll’s as director of retail sales and, previous to that, was vice president of marketing and category management at Green Giant Fresh.

At Church Bros. Farms, Sanchez’ responsibilities will include directing brand management, communications and messaging, event management, new product launches and the design and development of collateral for the company’s

T&G Global named Doug Bygrave as its new chief financial officer, effective March 1. Bygrave will succeed Bastian von Streit, who is returning home to Germany to take up the position of chief financial officer global produce with BayWa AG.

Currently company secretary, with additional responsibility for risk and treasury, Bygrave has been with T&G for over 24 years. In this time, he has held senior finance business roles across the entire business and also run shared services.

Tyler Cobb has been hired as the director of grower relations and field sourcing for McDaniel Fruit Co., home of Linda Vista brand fresh produce.

Cobb most recently served in a similar role for Del Monte and has extensive roots in the California avocado industry, having served two terms on the California Avocado Commission as well as having served on the Hass Avocado Board.
