The Giant Co. has named Jennifer Heinzen Krueger as its vice president of team experience effective May 30. Krueger replaces Matt Lutcavage, who is pursuing a new opportunity outside of the company.

PASADENA, CA — The Fresh Produce & Floral Council held an elegant 2022 Dinner Dance at the Speakeasy at the Langham, here, on Saturday, May 21. With over 230 members in attendance, the council celebrated the incoming and outgoing board of directors and the passing of the gavel from the 2021 Chair Sean McClure of Professional Produce to 2022 Chair Kori Martin of Oppy.

Norma McClain has joined Grow Farms Texas as a member of its sales and marketing team in McAllen, TX. As an account sales team member, McClain will primarily be responsible for growing sales with direct retail and foodservice accounts, but she will also play an integral role in liaising between sales and growers.

The company's latest grower spotlight features Dylan Jones, a potato grower and farm manager at Eagle Eye Produce, in the thick of potato planting in eastern Idaho. Leslie Harden has been promoted to eastern region sales director for Monterey Mushrooms. She will manage fresh retail and foodservice mushroom sales, including the company's locations in Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Illinois and Florida.
