Hy-Vee Inc. announced that Jason Buhrow has been named the company’s chief data officer, where he will oversee the development and governance of data strategy for the more than $11 billion company. Buhrow’s areas of focus also will include innovation in the area of enterprise-wide data science, analysis and visualization.

Buhrow comes to Hy-Vee after serving as business technology vice president for FBL Financial Group Inc. He has also held technology leadership positions at RSM US LLP and Berkley Technology Service LLC, and has significant experience in retail, insurance, finance, non-profit

Nature Fresh Farms’ very own Product Development Specialist Luci Faas has been recognized for her excellence in the produce industry.

The Canadian Produce Marketing Association has developed the Women in Produce initiative to recognize the achievements of outstanding women in the produce industry.
