Several commodity prices down leading into holiday push

The holiday rush is nearly here and consumer demand for produce is ramping up again. According to ProduceIQ, there are significant price declines “in commodities dominated by Yuma and Nogales: broccoli, cauliflower, Romaine, Iceberg, tomatoes, peppers and squash are experiencing double-digit percentage price reductions.”
Tomato prices are down across all varieties, and plum tomato prices are at half of what they were at Thanksgiving.
